Members of the Dutch Ashihara group successfully completed the Filipino Knife Fighting instructor course organised by the Dutch Defence Association. The examination took place in Rotterdam on January 9th 2005. The following members successfully completed the course:
- Jeroen Paalman - certified assistant Filipino Knife Fighting instructor
- Dennis Bergervoet - certified assistant Filipino Knife Fighting instructor
- Gerrit Eltink - certified assistant Filipino Knife Fighting instructor
