This organisation is sanctioned by Ashihara Karate International under the guidance of Karate Kaicho Hoosain Narker.

Het Ashihara Karate is een zeer veelzijdige tak van het traditionele Karate. Het vindt z'n oorsprong in het Kyokushinkai Karate, de meest geharde vorm van het hedendaagse Karate. Bij deze vorm van Full-Contact Karate staan discipline, respect en zelfbeheersing centraal (Kyokushinkai - de weg van het uiterste). Kancho Hideyuki Ashihara beoefende deze stijl bij de legendarische Mas Oyama (de grondlegger van het Kyokushinkai Karate).

The Ashihara Karate 30th Anniversary World Cup will be held in Cape Town, South Africa. A Dutch team led by Shihan Gorter will be attending.
